A new experimental tool that uses AI to make it easy to explore career possibilities personalized to your skills & interests.
When Grow with Google asked the team at the Creative Lab to connect users to their career certificates, we saw it as an opportunity to explore and understand how AI could support career exploration and to show the power of AI beyond chat.
As the design lead in this project I handled the branding, product design and go-to-market.
We started by building prototypes with different ideas that we found interesting and testing them with users and communities to understand their real needs without speculation. The sessions revealed that users needed a tool that would help them uncover and articulate their unique skills and experiences and explore personalized career paths based on those findings.
Using Google’s core visual elements I developed a design language that balances innovation with accessibility—feeling both innovative and comfortably familiar.
We integrated Gemini as a career exploration partner, demonstrating how AI can enhance rather than replace human decision-making.
The final product converts career uncertainty into exploration, providing both space for discovery and direction.
